Job Opening: HR & People Partner

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the onboarding of new team members. Looking at ways to improve the onboarding process to make new starters feel part of the team as seamlessly as possible
- Support line managers and Directors with employee relations issues from: performance management, disciplinaries and grievances to supporting our people with sickness, maternity/paternity, payroll and benefit queries
- Logging sickness and data analysis
- Set up new starters using the HRIS, liaising with departments (Tech Services and relevant discipline) to ensure a smooth transition from recruitment to onboarding by managing the process from end to end
- Managing VISA applications for new starters (with support from head office) and keeping all global mobility documentation up to date
- Advise and implement new processes or tools in support of project priorities and overall team engagement to improve workplace relationships
- Communicate and provide guidance regarding HR and company policies
- Responsibility for Udemy training platform set up and supporting line managers in identifying training needs for employees
- Manage internal and external communication (intranet, social media, newsletters, presentations…) supported by the Operations Assistant
- Collaborate with internal teams on the employee value proposition. Recommend ways to improve processes, increase employee engagement and employee happiness
- Organise and lead in the coordination of events and parties with support from the Operations Assistant
- Ensure that all legislative processes are adhered to (i.e., GDPR, H&S reports etc)
- Occasional administrative support with general office management. Help to ensure the smooth running of the office including office supplies, equipment maintenance, etc (in absence of Operations Assistant)
Qualifications & Skills:
- HR Professional, with generalist advisory experience across broad HR activities
- Ability to work at pace in a changing environment
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Able to think objectively, prioritise workloads and proactively solve problems with strong planning and organisation skills
- Able to use HR systems to compile data and analyse key HR trends
- Able to demonstrate good HR practice
- An understanding and knowledge of employment law and employment practices preferable
- Credible with negotiation, persuasion, and effective relationship management skills
- Able to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality in all aspects of work and be a trusted and professional ambassador for HR
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and positive approach
- Able to identify solutions and recommend continuous improvements
- Team spirit and collaboration mindset
