Job Opening: Senior Anti-Cheat Programmer

Location: Galway, Ireland

Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop anti-cheat systems across clients and servers to prevent cheating and abuse
  • Collaborate with designers, and engineers to ensure a fair and enjoyable player experience
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the game’s design to implement effective anti-cheat measures
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to stay ahead of cheating tactics
  • Provide regular updates and reports on anti-cheat measures and their effectiveness

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 6+ Years of professional experience in the games industry with a focus on anti-cheat or security
  • Proficiency in C++
  • Experience implementing anti-cheat measures
  • A deep understanding of cheat mechanisms and how they work

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity or experience with existing anti-cheat tools such as Easy Anti Cheat
  • Experience working with Unreal Engine
  • A proven understanding of the challenges specific to FPS games and cheating
  • Console development experience
