Job Opening: Senior Anti-Cheat Programmer
Location: Galway, Ireland
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop anti-cheat systems across clients and servers to prevent cheating and abuse
- Collaborate with designers, and engineers to ensure a fair and enjoyable player experience
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the game’s design to implement effective anti-cheat measures
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to stay ahead of cheating tactics
- Provide regular updates and reports on anti-cheat measures and their effectiveness
Qualifications & Skills:
- 6+ Years of professional experience in the games industry with a focus on anti-cheat or security
- Proficiency in C++
- Experience implementing anti-cheat measures
- A deep understanding of cheat mechanisms and how they work
Nice to have:
- Familiarity or experience with existing anti-cheat tools such as Easy Anti Cheat
- Experience working with Unreal Engine
- A proven understanding of the challenges specific to FPS games and cheating
- Console development experience
