Job Opening: Motion Design Intern – Winter 2025
Location: Detroit, Michigan, United States of America
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and execute motion graphics for training content, internal communications, and other digital assets
- Assist in the production of 2D and 3D animations, including logo animations, lower thirds, transitions, and other motion graphics elements
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and solutions
- Maintain a strong understanding of current motion graphics trends and techniques
- Ensure all deliverables meet Rocket Companies’ brand guidelines and quality standards
- Provide support for other design and marketing initiatives as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in graphic design, motion graphics, animation, or a related field
- Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for creating visually stunning and impactful motion graphics
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop
- Experience with 2D and 3D animation software, such as Cinema 4D or Blender, is a plus
