Job Opening: 3D Character Marketing Artist
Location: Vancouver, Canada
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- In this role you will be responsible for setting up marketing renders of our 3D Characters and assets in Unreal Engine.
- You will also be fixing any 3D artifacts in maya, zbrush or photoshop and being a global resource for all our teams.
- In this position you can be expected to be using the Unreal engine, Unity and marmoset tool bag for rendering.
- You would also be setting up final images and cleanup in Photoshop.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong 3D Character portfolio showing a variety of visual styles.
- Must be currently located in North America.
- Strong understanding of Photoshop, Zbrush, Marmoset, Unreal engine, Painter.
- 1+ years experience as a character artist in the videogame or VFX industry and/or post secondary education
- Great team player, self motivated and can communicate well
- Great understanding of Photoshop and setting up final images.
- very strong understanding of a real-time workflow for characters
- Hi-poly to low poly game mesh, texturing, materials ect.
- Familiar with Unreal Engine a must
- Experience with Unity a bonus
- Experience creating Cinematic/post production characters a plus
