Job Opening: Senior Gameplay Programmer

Location: Remote

Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement brilliantly engineered, readable, maintainable, bug-free reliable code.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop various gameplay systems and features.
  • Follow games industry-level best practices, processes, and coding standards.
  • Document and peer review technical specifications with the other software engineers on the team.
  • Work with QA, helping fix and regress issues with the existing game, whilst also developing fully tested code.
  • Keep up to date with best practices, engineering methods, and technologies. Investigate new platforms and SDKs as they arrive.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Understanding games, gameplay, and a true passion for making brilliant video games is a fundamental requirement.
  • Comfortable working in any area of a codebase, with a can-do, proactive self-starting attitude.
  • A brilliant knowledge of 3D mathematics, timing, and animation.
  • Proven experience programming game features and systems on previously published projects.
  • Can communicate with both programmers and other team members from other disciplines.
  • Fluent in C#, experience with Unity Game Engine is desirable.
