Job Opening: HR Manager
Location: New York & Remote
Type: Full-Time
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years’ experience in a HR management role
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, in Human Resources or related field
- Working knowledge and application of federal and state employment laws (For both NY and LA)
- Experience within a small to midsize company (nearing 100 fulltime employees) and matrixed environment
- Experience within an advertising, creative or commercial production environment
- Experience with managing HRIS systems
- Able to travel between New York and Los Angeles
- Proven ability to effectively interact with all organizational levels and build strong, trusted relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate and coach through sensitive matters with professionalism, authority and positivity.
- Strong organizational, motivational, and problem solving skills.
- A team player who can also self-start and work independently within a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment
- Ability to time manage, prioritize and work within hard deadlines
- Understands taking full ownership of tasks from beginning to end, working with a small Finance/Admin team
- A relationship builder who is passionate about the people aspect of HR
- Possesses intellectual curiosity, brings insight into the team & business.
