Job Opening: DevOps Engineer
Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automated build and deployment pipelines (CI/CD) using tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Manage and maintain infrastructure on-premise or in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) for development, testing, and production environments.
- Configure and optimize cloud resources for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify and implement automation opportunities throughout the development lifecycle.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest DevOps tools and technologies relevant to the gaming industry.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and methodologies.
- Broad experience with cloud platforms technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure configuration tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).
- Experience working in a fast-paced and agile development environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A passion for video games and the gaming industry.
Bonus points for:
- Experience with game development tools and engines (Unity, Unreal Engine, etc).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with security best practices for cloud environments.
