Job Opening: Character 3D Artist
Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality 3D character models, textures, and materials using industry-standard software such as Maya, ZBrush, and Substance Painter.
- Collaborate with Concept Artists to translate 2D concept art into 3D models.
- Work closely with the Animation team to ensure that character models are optimized for animation and rigging.
- Ensure that all character models meet technical requirements for in-game performance and optimization.
- Participate in reviews and critiques of character art to ensure that it meets the artistic vision of the game.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continually improve your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong portfolio showcasing your character art skills.
- Expertise in Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and other industry-standard software.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, form, and proportion.
- Knowledge of game development pipelines and processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Passion for video games and a desire to create immersive and engaging game experiences.
