Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality 3D character models, textures, and materials using industry-standard software such as Maya, ZBrush, and Substance Painter.
  • Collaborate with Concept Artists to translate 2D concept art into 3D models.
  • Work closely with the Animation team to ensure that character models are optimized for animation and rigging.
  • Ensure that all character models meet technical requirements for in-game performance and optimization.
  • Participate in reviews and critiques of character art to ensure that it meets the artistic vision of the game.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continually improve your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong portfolio showcasing your character art skills.
  • Expertise in Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and other industry-standard software.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, form, and proportion.
  • Knowledge of game development pipelines and processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Passion for video games and a desire to create immersive and engaging game experiences.
