Job Opening: Animator
Location: Warwick, England, United Kingdom
Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Ability to key frame character animation according to the requirements of the project
- Produce both in-game and cinematic character animation up to the high standard in line with the project
- Clean up and use of motion capture data, key framing over top as needed
- Track and update the progress of day to day tasks using the designated tracking tools
- Communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders to confirm task direction and consistency of your own work
- Ensure the technical and artistic quality of the project by collaborating with Technical Animators and Senior Artists and make changes when necessary
- Implement and incorporate feedback from Producer and Leads into work
- Assist with optimisation and debugging to fix the issues raised by testers
- Apply best practices, production pipelines and workflows
- Support the Lead Animator and or Director in any ad hoc tasks and duties
Qualifications & Skills:
- Knowledge of Motion Capture process
- Knowledge of Motion builder & Maya
- Knowledge of Rigging and Skinning
- Ability to Key Frame Character Animation, both Body and Facial
- Able to animate realistic human and Animal motion
- Able to produce high quality animation in our game engine
- Knowledge of the video game development process
- Knowledge of production pipelines
- Able to focus on own professional development and take action to learn
- Able to complete work with occasional supervision
- Able to respond and adapt to changing circumstances
