Job Opening: Head of Post-Production
Location: Holborn, United Kingdom
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with our in-house Producers and Film Directors to understand project visions and develop post-production plans that align with creative goals and technical requirements.
- Oversee and enhance the post-production workflow, including editing, animation, sound design, and colour, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and implement standards and protocols for post-production processes to maintain high-quality creative outputs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the post-production team, promoting a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in post-production to drive creativity and technical advancement within the department.
- Ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to support project and department goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- This is a full-time role in the office, so a person who is happy to commute daily to Holborn or our film studios in West London is a necessity
a passion for storytelling - A minimum of 10 years of experience in editing and/or animation, with a proven track record of success in leading post-production efforts on high-profile projects.
- High energy, ambitious extremely motivated to be the best at what you do, and constantly eager to learn.
- Extensive knowledge of post-production workflows, techniques, and the latest software/tools in the industry.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing creative teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with directors, team members, and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and technically, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Animation, or a related field.
- Willingness to interact with clients and lead client meetings.
