Job Opening: QA Analyst
Location: London, UK
Type: Contract
Responsibilities:
- Review feature or content specifications supported by more experienced team members, provide actionable feedback, and create optimized feature test plans for assigned features or game areas from content, live ops, and feature teams, updating existing test documentation where required
- Participate in comprehensive testing of assigned features and content where required, working closely with other QA team members and the various studio teams
- Provide suggestions and feedback for test process improvements, including suggesting potential tools and automation opportunities
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in quality assurance within the games industry at a development studio, with mobile F2P experience a definite plus, although if not, having an appreciation for the mobile F2P genre is essential
- Problem solver with a curious mindset and able to break down a feature to formulate test plans and test strategies in a maintainable way
- Experience with creating test plans for features, both using functional and non-functional test techniques
- Experience with bug workflows and test case management systems (ideally Jira and Testmo)
- Self-starter is able to take on complex tasks, break them down, and action in order to achieve a high standard
- Good communication and collaboration skills with a curious and adaptable mindset, able to work collaboratively within a team to a high standard within required timelines
