Job Opening: Technical Artist
Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a Techincal Artist to join our team! You will be responsible for helping design and implement new games by using engine tools to bring animation to life.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Portfolio demonstrating top-quality works
- Experience working within game development
- Designing, creating, and integrating VFX for the assigned project
- Create high-quality visual effects (textures, lighting, form, geometry, flipbooks, normal maps, vector field textures, etc.)
- Advanced experience with real-time environments, game engines, associated languages and workflows
- Experience working with Unreal, Unity and VFX
- Solid experience with high-quality visuals, following memory and performance targets
- Experience profiling performance and memory within game engines
- Solid knowledge of current and next-gen art techniques, and fundamental art principles
- Solid experience with physically based rendering and Substance Suite
- Self-motivated, structured, proactive, and detail-oriented and relentless drive to find solutions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
