Job Opening: Executive Producer – Animation, Games & Innovation
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the development and production of animation projects for games and interactive media, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and goals.
- Develop, cultivate, and maintain relationships with current and new clients and external partners.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, helping to expand the company’s reach in the gaming and interactive entertainment sectors. Key decision maker in project selection.
- Establish pitch strategy and manage pitches by clearly defining what needs to be done to succeed creatively and financially, making sure to collaborate effectively with directors.
- Collaborate with creative directors, game designers, animators, writers, and technical teams to shape compelling narratives and innovative experiences.
- Oversee bidding and the development of a potential production plan. Work with HoPs to determine resource allocation strategies.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of high-quality content from beginning to end.
- Mentor producers throughout the course of production, helping to guide margins, creative trouble shooting and client communications.
- Drive innovation in animation pipelines, production workflows, and emerging technologies to enhance production efficiency and creativity.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the production team.
- Be a thought leader on creative production internally and externally, advocating for our craft.
- Must exhibit hands-on technology leadership in the development of projects, including but not limited to ideation and selection of which technologies are appropriate for each opportunity.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Producer and/or 3+ years as an Executive Producer (or an equivalent leadership role) in the animation and/or games industry.
- Passion for storytelling, innovation, and pushing the boundaries of what animation can achieve in gaming and interactive experiences.
- Must have a good range of production experience dealing with various creative approaches at varying budget levels.
- Must have a strong understanding of the 2D & 3D pipeline and process. As well as knowledge and passion for emerging technologies such as AI, gaming engines, and procedural content generation.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Able to anticipate production challenges and solve.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Must be able to present creative opinions in a clear and concise manner.
- Must be able to juggle multiple projects and tasks at one time while staying organized.
- Must be able to work well within a team environment and have strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of CETA iCFM software is a plus.
