Job Opening: Production Coordinator

Location: Colombia, South America

Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and back-up support to the production team, including, but not limited to, note-taking and distribution, document and micro-schedule preparation, computer data entry and filing, among other tasks.
  • Coordinate the daily workflow of production materials at each stage (e.g., scripts, storyboards, layouts, animatics, animation, etc.).
  • Ensure that all departments have the appropriate resources and production infrastructure to perform their functions successfully and within the established schedule.
  • Work with production to maintain and communicate weekly goals to artist teams based on scheduled milestones.
  • Support the dissemination of information in the production area regarding the status of tasks, thus allowing schedules and priorities to be adjusted as needed.
  • Support the Production Manager in maintaining team quotas, meeting deadlines, and ensuring that department productivity goals are consistently maintained.
  • Organize, attend, and prepare detailed notes for weekly production meetings with the Producer, Director, Supervisor, and crew.
  • Maintain distribution lists and contacts as needed.
  • Assist in staff planning and forecasting as required.
  • Other functions are assigned according to production coordination needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years of production or related experience.
  • Knowledge of 2D and/or 3D digital production processes.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.), as well as Gmail and Google applications.
  • Knowledge of Toon Boom, Storyboard Pro, and ACTRA (IPA) is considered an advantage.
  • Ability to plan, schedule, and monitor progress across multiple interdependent departments.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proactive and problem-solving-oriented approach.
  • Good judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Friendly and flexible attitude.
