Job Opening: Post Production Producer
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Project management of all post-production services from scheduling through to costing and client invoicing.
- Coordinating and running client-attended or remote sessions for mix, grade, gfx, VFX and edit across facilities and time zones
- Providing the best possible service and delivery to the client.
- Tracking costs versus budget for projects and keeping clients abreast of the current position and any potential over/underspends.
- Maintaining good channels of communication between the operators, clients, and other production and accounts staff within Windmill Lane.
- Where required you will arrange client kick-off meetings to discuss their requirements in detail, coordinating the key creatives to attend and input.
- You are ultimately responsible for ensuring the best possible service and delivery to the client and maximizing the margin earned by the company.
- You will be required to propose, implement and capture new marketing initiatives which will include profiling staff, showreels, post packages, updating promotional material for our website, social media platforms, exhibitions, publication, etc. This may be required for all relevant departments throughout the Company. From time to time, you will be required to attend industry events and other marketing opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Have a deep understanding of post-production & VFX technologies: know the process in detail, stay up to date with the efficiencies and productivities that can be achieved through constantly changing technologies and work practices
- Working knowledge of Farmers Wife an advantage
- Experience in a client-facing role as well as project planning, budgeting & scheduling
- Excellent communications and time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Must be proactive, a self-starter, a problem solver, calm under pressure, and fast-on-your-feet thinking professional
- 2-3 years experience working at this level in Broadcast/Post/VFX/Animation or similar industry
- You should be detail-oriented and highly organized.
- A love for the Film, Tv, Drama, and animation industries is a huge advantage
