Job Opening: Senior CG Supervisor
Location: Warsaw, Poland
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight, Creative Direction and Quality Control:
- Oversee the CG process from pre-production to final delivery, ensuring alignment with the director’s vision.
- Provide creative and technical guidance, approving the visual style and quality of CG cinematic shots.
- Conduct regular reviews of CG work, providing feedback to ensure consistency and quality.
- Collaboration and Team Leadership:
- Work closely with directors, producers, coordinators, and team leads to understand project goals.
- Facilitate clear communication within the team.
- Lead and mentor the CG team, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Technical Supervision and Innovation:
- Solve complex technical issues and ensure efficient CG pipelines.
- Stay current with industry trends, implementing new tools and techniques to improve efficiency and quality.
- Resource Management, Scheduling and Problem-Solving:
- Plan and allocate resources, including managing budgets to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Develop and manage detailed schedules for CG tasks, integrating them with the overall project timeline.
- Address issues quickly and develop contingency plans to keep the project on track.
- Client Interaction:
- Act as the primary point of contact for CG-related discussions with clients.
- Present and explain CG concepts, progress, and final work to clients, incorporating their feedback as necessary.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 6 years experience in a similar role and previous experience as a 3D Artist.
- Thorough understanding of the CG production process.
- Solid knowledge of all other disciplines within CG including modeling, shading, rigging, animation, etc.
- Experience in working with software: Maya, Nuke, Houdini, Substance Painter, and ShotGrid.
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks at a time while remaining efficient and mindful of strict deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work efficiently with various personalities and different work styles; a collaborative work ethic.
- Solid PM skills (tools and general methodologies in project management).
- Excellent proactive problem-solving skills and a keen eye for art.
- Great communication skills both written and verbal.
- Fluent English is essential.
