Job Opening: 3D Senior/Lead Generalist
Location: Prague, Czech Republic
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Execute a broad range of VFX tasks including modelling, look development, lighting objects, modeling, texturing, animation, and rendering
- × Seamlessly integrate various layers of 3D, VFX, and CG shots
- × Work closely with the production and head of 3D to achieve desired looks and high-quality
- × Submitting shots for review and follow through with notes and feedback if required
- × Execute various project tasks from sculpting, animation, and look development to lighting shots
- × Able to work collaboratively with others as well as independently to complete assigned projects
- × Participate in the evaluation of the project’s technical needs, as well as the demands of the production pipeline
- × Participate in supporting junior artists
- × Great ability to perceive color and arrange images effectively, while also grasping scale and realism
- × Ability to communicate with and support other artists, and keep them informed of progress, changes, and other critical issues
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Strong proficiency in Maya and V-Ray
- Knowledge of other industry software is an advantage
- Working knowledge and diverse capabilities in rigging, lighting, tracking, shading, texturing, and rendering
- Must have the ability to problem solve and predict potential problems with assigned VFX tasks
- Possess a creative flair, technical ability, and passion for visual storytelling
- Ability to take direction positively and remain calm and professional during production period peaks
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with the Production and Head of 3D to achieve desired looks and quality
- A positive and motivated personality
- Must be eligible to work in the Czech Republic/EU
