Job Opening: VFX Supervisor
Location: Poland, Europe
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Lead project bidding by assessing scope, budget, and resources.
- Collaborate with the director and key creatives to shape and execute the film’s visual effects vision.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure creative alignment.
- Oversee the VFX process during preproduction, shooting, and postproduction phases.
- Review, critique, and approve VFX work before presentation to the director.
- Supervise and support artists across departments, providing creative and technical
guidance. - Manage schedules, teams, and budgets to meet production goals efficiently.
- Provide on-set VFX supervision and ensure accurate data capture for post-production workflows.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5–6+ years in a supervisory VFX/CGI role, ideally in film and TV.
- Deep understanding of 3D pipelines; hands-on experience with Houdini, Maya, and
renderers (e.g., V-Ray, Mantra). - Proficiency in Nuke and compositing workflows.
- Proven ability to deliver complex VFX shots while balancing creative vision and
technical feasibility. - Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style.
- Fluent in English; (Polish is a plus)
- Strong artistic sensibility and attention to storytelling, design, and visual detail.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with the Polish and European film industry is a plus, but not a must.
