Job Opening: Freelance Editor

Qualifications & Skills:
- KPIX is looking for a highly talented part-time video editor with a passion for news and experience using non-linear editing equipment.
- Candidate must have a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience working in a fast-paced television news environment.
- Must be detail-oriented and deadline-driven with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work with the Grass Valley Edius editing system a preferred.
- The editor must be a creative and poised team player who can juggle multiple projects at once.
- Candidate must be flexible with work schedule, and willing to work nights, overnights, and weekends as needed.
- Links to a demo reel demonstrating the abilities required.
