Job Opening: Office & HR Administrator
Location: St. Ives, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
Primary Duties- Fulfil Office Management Functions
- Manage and maintain overall office appearance and functionality.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment inventories.
- Manage logistics for any in-person meetings and events.
- Purchase company merchandise for employees or events.
- Manage relationships with building vendors and service providers.
- Partner with admin staff from other offices around the globe, providing support as needed.
Liaise with the Group People Team to support European HR functions:
- Assist in the Talent Acquisition process, partnering with hiring managers in the hiring process including sourcing, scheduling and/or conducting interviews.
- Help implement training and development programs that promote the growth and development of employees.
- Support the People Team in monitoring and ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with timely and accurate processing of records within the HRIS system.
- Act as the support/point of contact for management and employees.
- Help drive process and build strong work relationships to manage overall retention and engagement.
- Identify, prioritize, and respond to employee requests for support in a thorough and timely manner.
- Other duties as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant professional experience in an office
- Basic knowledge of employment/labour laws and standard HR practices
- Ability to think strategically and implement creative solutions
- Strong communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels in the organisation
- Comfortable managing competing priorities with precision and organisation
- Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite a must
- Ability to do errands as needed with a valid driving licence
