Job Opening: Technical Artist/ Animation Programmer (Real Time )
Location: Remote – Working UK timezone
Type: Freelance
Responsibilities:
- Produce motion constraint code that can be translated to, or reused by, different applications so there is numeric interoperability of systems across applications.
- Create geometry deformers and motion constraints to achieve specific artistic outcomes.
- Make procedural motion code that synthesises specific types of motion.
- Produce character animation controllers that can be executed cleanly from code.
- Contribute to discussions of the technical delivery process, and internal tooling of the wider studio.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Unity3D and/or Unreal and/or programming for 3D DCCs like Maya, Max, Houdini, C# and/or C++ and/or python
- Animation programming (interpolation, motion constraints, deformation) comfortable with one or more of
- Unity3D and/or Unreal and/or 3D DCCs like Maya, Max, Houdini
- Graphics programming
- Rigging
- Traditional 3d DCC Applications (Maya/3dsMax/Houdini/Blender)
- Programming embedded devices, (Arduino, Raspberry Pi)
- Computer Vision
- Machine Learning
- With a passion for experimenting with the latest technology and a portfolio of exciting, visually complex and inspirational work.
- Comfortable developing plugins for 3d DCCs and/or developing character animation code for games or simulation.
