Job Opening: Motion Graphics Editor
Location: Budapest, Hungary

Responsibilities:
- Designing and creating graphics in After Effects for broadcast in multiple regions
- Designing brand new 2D and 3D graphics sequences – including, but not limited to: titles, credits, captions, animated sequences, subtitles, maps – as well as recreating and matching any pre-existing design either from scratch or with the aid of pre-made graphics packages/templates.
- Creating motion graphics templates and projects from scratch as well as using and adapting existing After Effects packages.
- Ingest US toolkits to EMEA standards
- Rework/recreate master toolkits in After Effects and set/design templates according to regional localization standards across EMEA (plugin set, font types, render engine, etc)
- Keep the After Effects template layer structure and settings in a fashion that supports mastering works and the overall finalization process
- Custom motion graphics creation and compositing over a picture.
- Editing content for broadcast, whether this is reversioning and customising pre-existing content or cutting from rushes.
- Performing edits according to WBD tech specs, scripts, insert lists, edit instructions, and style guides
- Able to take and understand a creative brief and be able to creatively and technically feed into it and suggest the most appropriate and time-efficient way of approaching the work.
- To be able to receive, absorb, and act on feedback on your work from various stakeholders and approach that feedback in a positive and collaborative manner.
- Engaging with the Streaming Creative, Marketing Ops, and other teams to maintain the look and feel of the WBD brands and content.
- Communicating queries or missing materials to the Post Resources Supervisor, AV Versioning Lead, and to other relevant stakeholders.
- Liaising with the Content Operations and Network Operations (Net Ops) teams, as well as any other relevant stakeholders.
- Reporting any technical problems to the Post Production Engineering team
- Daily use of agreed communication channels within the team and within the wider organization
- Engage in training junior team members.
- Maintaining QC standards of newly created materials
- The ability to thoroughly carry out metadata entry tasks is crucial
- An impeccable attention to detail is a must
- Responsibility for ensuring all operational procedures are followed
- Supporting the Motion Graphics Supervisor, Post Resources Supervisor, and AV Versioning Lead in day-to-day operating duties by feeding back any issues
- Prioritizing and dealing with queries as quickly and efficiently as possible
- Analyzing the current workflow and proposing/reporting anything that can be improved
- Ensuring that all aspects of regulatory compliance codes and Codes of Practice relating to the platforms and brands are observed
- Ad hoc duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to perform advanced graphics work using After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Ability to create motion graphic sequences from scratch and also utilize existing After Effects templates.
- Strong design skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Cinema 4D is a distinct advantage
- Able to create offline and Online content for broadcast using Adobe Premiere and/or Avid Media Composer.
- Some experience with Avid Media Composer is desirable
- Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and edit in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ideally educated to degree level or recognized equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of file-based workflows and broadcast technology
- Good operational knowledge of editing within a broadcaster or agency environment
- Excellent understanding of video, grading, and audio theory
- Clear, concise naming, filing, and organizational skills for asset management
- A proactive team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate English language skills (verbal and written).
- Additional language skills are beneficial.
- Passionate about media content and the media industry
