Job Opening: Motion Designer

Responsibilities:
- Create animations and videos for a range of marketing and brand campaign projects, including product UI, social media, web, and packaging elements for video such as title cards, transitions, lower thirds, end cards, etc.
- Work with designers and copywriters to create stories.
- Keep up with design and motion trends to keep Shogun at the forefront of the industry.
- Collaborate effectively with the Marketing team and as a cross-functional team member.
- Create high-quality work that delights our customers, meets company objectives, and reinforces our brand.
- Produce and advocate for strong design solutions, communicating ideas to key stakeholders across the organization.
- Work within the Shogun Brand Guidelines, with an innovative approach to evolving the brand.
- Give and receive feedback constructively.
Experiences & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in Motion Design
- Portfolio of shipped work that shows motion across a wide range of outputs (web, social, product explainers, brand videos)
- Expertise in After Effects and Premiere Pro
- Passion for storytelling through motion, including storyboarding, editing, and motion graphics/animation
- Excellent design craft with an eye for detail and consistency
- Strategic thinker, able to see and communicate ideas from concept to execution
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- 3D skills in Cinema 4D is a bonus
- Past experience within e-commerce, marketing, or past experience at tech companies
- Experience with HTML5 ads creation
- Experience working on a remote team
