Job Opening: Animator
Location: Adelaide, Australia

Responsibilities:
- Create high quality animation consistently and be able to easily adapt to different animation styles from project to project.
- Ability to test your animation in Engine.
- Liaise with Animation Director and Designers regarding the style and feel of the game and the characters.
- Provide feedback to the rigging team on character rigs and work with them to achieve the requirements of the animation for specific rigs.
- Gather references for the animation style.
- Creating BIO’s or style guides for characters/ creatures in a game.
- Producing animation for prototypes for pitches.
- Maintaining production documentation for new animators joining a project.
- Be open to learning and using new technologies on different projects ie: Spine
- Problem-solving both creative and technical issues.
- Adhering to the production schedule.
- Curating and cataloging of animation library.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2-3+ years experience as an Animation Artist in the gaming industry.
- Relevant tertiary qualification inAnimation for Games.
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D animation, and familiarity with the principles of animation and a talent for storytelling.
- Strong understanding of Human anatomy and movement.
- Systematic and logical work practices.
- Working knowledge of Games industry standard software and ongoing professional development.
- Team player, ability to work independently.
- Experience in working with audio files for lip sync.
- Knowledge of anatomy, zoology, layout design.
- Ability to take on constructive criticism and delivering amendments based on feedback.
- Used to working under pressure and consistently meeting deadlines.
- Basic experience with Unity and high level of comfort and familiarity with version control and asset management solutions (Perforce, git, etc).
- Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines such as art, design.
