Job Opening: 3D Environment Artist
Location: Montreal, QC, Canada
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality environments in procedurally generated worlds;
- Work closely with everyone across all disciplines on a small and highly talented team;
- Plan outsourcing assignments, and review and approve incoming work from external partners for consistency and quality.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of industry experience;
- Recent Unreal Engine 4 and layer material creation experience;
- Incredible attention to detail and environment art skills as demonstrated in a portfolio;
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills;
- Solid understanding of performance and GPU rendering for creating optimized real-time content, lighting, and shaders;
- Strong time management and organizational skills;
- Bonus: Experience with Unreal Engine 5, Houdini, and with procedural terrain systems.
