Job Opening: Mid Pipeline Developer
Location: Remote
Type: Temporary, Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test and debug code and tools oriented to CG software, production databases and remote interaction to our structure.
- Maintain and/or refactor existing code to improve performance, design or update to new versions.
- Document pipeline code and tools.
- You will be mainly working with the technical team and a wide range of CGI professionals to maintain and improve our existing pipeline as well as being open to new systems and technology implementations.
- Write, maintain and improve mostly python code to solve problems related to CGI and productivity on a single or multiple projects during pre-production and production.
- Test and debug code and tools to ensure stability and functionality.
- Ensure code and tools meet overall pipeline framework.
- Update existing department code and tools to established coding standards.
- Understanding of Animation production pipelines a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously and independently in a fully remote environment, with that comes the supreme individual responsibility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and maintain your own initiative.

Qualifications & Skills:
- No previous experience in a CG studio is required.
- Understanding general CG production is a plus.
- Experience in the following Software packages is Essential:
- Python and PyQt/PySide.
- Database-oriented coding.
- Version control, management and deployment tools.
- Remote-oriented coding.
- Experience in the following Software packages is a plus:
- Django or similar web frameworks.
- C, C+, C#, Java, Visual Basic, Mel (Maya), TCL (Nuke), Vex (Houdini).
- CG DCC packages (Maya, Nuke, Houdini, Blender).
- Autodesk Shotgrid (or similar).
- Ability to take feedback constructively and implement it effectively, to reach the quality desired.
- Anticipation and quick reaction for problem-solving.
- Demonstrate great autonomy and proactivity in your work.
- Great attention to detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal and collaborative skills.
