Job Opening: Maya Pipeline & Tool TD

Location: Salt Lake City, UT, USA

Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

  • Provide software and tools support to production and artists.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide user support.
  • Works daily with the Production team to identify and implement existing and new features.
  • Troubleshoot artist tool issues; develop effective solutions.
  • Write Technical Briefs and UI documentation.
  • Complete various tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years’ experience in film, TV, or games.
  • Intermediate to advanced level user of Maya.
  • Strong Python and MEL scripting skills.
  • C++, Maya API and  Shotgun (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Maya rigging techniques.
  • Experience with Rigging, Animation, and Creature FX (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Unreal or Unity.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented and strong self-sufficient troubleshooter.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation.
  • Able to take direction.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
