Job Opening: Material And Textures Artist

Responsibilities:
- Create high quality textures and physically based materials for use in real time rendering
- Understanding requirements from key concept art to develop material library
- Work closely with environment artists and lighters to understand the context of their needs
- Understand game’s visual language and adapt work accordingly
- Deliver work in accordance with the project’s artistic direction, and ensure unified look and consistent quality across the project
- Update your work based on feedback, and technical engine requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of PBR pipelines
- Expert knowledge of procedural smart material creation in Substance Designer and Painter
- Good knowledge of sculpting in Zbrush and baking textures (tiling and otherwise)
- Proficient in one DCC (3DS Max/Maya/Blender)
- Ability to tweak and adjust textures within Photoshop
- Working knowledge of shader creation within Unreal
- Flexibility to work with multiple art disciplines to achieve the best results (Prop Art, Character Art, Environment Art, Lighting team)
- A strong portfolio showcasing your work
- A good understanding of art fundamentals
- Be proactive and self-motivated, work without direct supervision
- Experience with photogrammetry is a bonus
