Job Opening: Technical Artist
Location: Orlando, Florida, US
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Be a jack-of-all-trades 3D artist with a broad skill set including lighting, rigging, animation, modeling, and VFX
- Collaborate with all members of the team to develop a long-term strategy to maintain and evolve art workflow
- Continuously help improve visual quality through shader creation and lighting
- Assist art team with optimizing performance
- Support the animation team by maintaining rigs
- Coordinate between departments to achieve project goals
Qualifications & Skills:
- Portfolio of example rigs, shaders, or tools
- Experience with Unity/Unreal workflows and best practices
- Strong art skills with a deep understanding of modeling, shaders, texturing, animation, and lighting for games
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
Great to have:
- Experience with scripting in C#, Python, or MEL
- Experience with shader development
- Experience with Houdini
- Strong Knowledge of Photoshop
- Expertise in content development for Unity
- Experience with VR / AR development
- Proficiency with using profiling tools
