Job Opening: Senior Game Designer
Location: Germany
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Design and prototype new features in collaboration with the dev team
- Research, deconstruct, and assess mobile games
- Collaborate with the dev team to ensure objectives are clear and that execution is flawless
- Communicate game design requirements in the most relevant format across all functional teams
- Be an active part of user and beta tests and compile player reviews
- Balance features and evaluate their impact on the game
- Review existing features numerically and graphically
Qualifications & Skills:
- At least 4 years of professional experience as a game designer
- Experience working with F2P mobile games
- Have strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
- Knowledge of the mobile games market, trends, competition, platforms, and app stores
- Ability to analyze and effectively utilize gameplay data, sales performance, and player sentiment to improve the game
- Top-notch spreadsheet skills, with the ability to use them in versatile ways (eg. as balancing tools, monitoring tools, LiveOps tools, and much more)
- An absolute passion for playing and making video games, especially mobile games
- Positive attitude, self-driven, and able to work alone and as part of a team
