Job Opening: Machine Learning Developers
Location: Adelaide, Australia
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver machine learning software and workflows that meet creative and/or technical objectives, while always maintaining appropriate standards and best practices.
- Maintain knowledge of the current state of machine learning-based approaches and technology.
- Work with key stakeholders to appropriately scope projects prior to implementation and to develop proof of concepts, or prototypes, as required.
- Improve the integration of the machine learning capabilities within the studio.
- Appropriately design, implement, maintain, test, and document all applications, utilities, or components developed.
- Own machine learning projects as assigned or agreed to by your manager.
- Drive projects you are responsible for towards completion. Proactively follow up on outstanding items, changing requirements and blockers to ensure that constant progress is made.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science with a specialty in Machine Learning
- Minimum 1+ years of development work in Machine Learning, with more experience qualifying for higher positions.
- Excellent knowledge of machine learning techniques and toolsets such as PyTorch (or similar)
- Good knowledge of Python software development
- Great organizational skills, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor in a delivery-focused work environment.
- Technical and creative problem-solving with a can-do mindset.
- Enjoy working in and contributing to a supportive and collaborative team environment.
- Skills in any of the following areas will set your application apart:
- Generative image/3D models, e.g. Diffusion, GANs, and navigating/disentangling latent space and image attributes
- Model fitting and estimation- e.g. pose tracking
- NeRFs / new-view synthesis
- Experience in the following is advantageous but not essential:
- Computer vision – image processing, structure from motion
- Graphics experience, e.g. OpenGL
- Working knowledge of the VFX pipeline
