Job Opening: Lighting Artist [Mid to Senior-level]
Location: Sydney, Australia
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the lighting and compositing team to plan and execute high-quality renders and composites.
- Develop and refine new lighting techniques that align with evolving project needs.
- Perform quality control (QC) checks on output to ensure adherence to project standards.
- Prepare and optimize assets for rendering, managing the entire lighting pipeline workflow.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments, discussing project progress, challenges, and solutions.

- Detail-oriented, with a keen eye for visual quality and consistency.
- Highly organized, with excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Calm under pressure and adaptable to project changes.
- A proactive problem-solver who can contribute effectively to a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong proficiency in Maya and Nuke.
- A minimum of 5 years of production experience in a VFX, animation, or post-production environment.
- Experience with lighting and shading assets, with a solid technical understanding of rendering processes.
- A proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges effectively.
- Experience with Octane or similar rendering tools.
- Previous VFX work on television or film projects.
