Job Opening: Experienced Background Artists
Location: Kilkenny, Ireland
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Creating complex digital key backgrounds, following the style established by the art director.
- Working with the art director/background supervisor to create key backgrounds based on layouts referencing conceptual artwork and location designs.
- Producing key backgrounds according to a weekly quota.
- Meeting deadlines as established by production management.
- Reviewing messages on messaging systems and emails during working hours.
- Flagging issues to the immediate supervisor/background lead and being involved in any proposed solutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience as a background artist.
- Strong understanding of traditional 2D principles.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work.
- Attention to detail and ability to find solutions.
- Experience with Shotgrid is considered a plus.
