Job Opening: Lead VFX Artist (Unity Engine)
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Creating VFX content in the broadest sense, including character ability effects, environmental effects, and post-processing, all within the Unity framework.
- Organizing and overseeing the execution of tasks within the FX department of the project, maintaining documentation in this context, and discussing tasks with the client.
- Designing and controlling FX department pipelines. Procuring and accepting technological solutions necessary for task completion.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience working on PC or console projects.
- A portfolio that visually demonstrates your skills. Ability to provide projects and assets for analysis or complete a technical task for such analysis.
- Experience working in Unity. Unreal Engine is also acceptable, but you will need to retrain on Unity.
- Broad technical knowledge in your field.
- Resilience to stress. You’ll need to work extensively with people, negotiate, find solutions for lost or unassigned tasks, and devise and implement pipelines and solutions in collaboration with other departments.
