Job Opening: Lead Producer
Location: United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Directors to facilitate focus on creating an amazing game while simultaneously managing operations, project scope, schedule, and communications
- Work in partnership with the Director and Studio Assistant to oversee studio operations
- Develop and review hiring plans with the Director for scaling a team from 5 collaborators to roughly 15 collaborators
- Maintain a production pipeline with tools based on the team’s needs
- Build and maintain project backlogs, roadmaps, and schedules
- Manage development budgets and define milestone deliveries for our current project, and create and manage budgets for future projects
- Anticipate and address potential problems like blockers, quality concerns, budget compromises and scope changes, and communicate those effectively
- Oversee production throughout the lifecycle of the project – from prototype to production and through to launch on console and PC
- Spearhead the creation, organization, and maintenance of meeting notes (in collaboration with studio assistant) and project documentation, and assist in creation of employee handbook and culture documentation
- Work with our QA contractors, platform, and localization and other partners to coordinate delivery of milestones
Qualifications & Skills:
- Extensive experience working in a senior production role in video game development
- Experience in running or assisting with studio operations at a game studio
- Experience with self-publishing a commercial video game on PC and console
- Shipped at least one commercial video game title on PC and console
- Empathetic and collaborative team leader who can inspire and manage others
- Experience with the whole lifecycle of game development from start to finish
- Prior experience with localization, QA, submission, and build processes
- Excellent leadership, project management, oral and written communication skills
- Thorough understanding and experience across product management tool sets (Favro, Notion, Miro, Google Workplace, etc.) and agile methodology
- Strong capability to multitask, prioritize, take initiative and work autonomously to strategise and spearhead deliverables
- Solid organizational skills and highly efficient time management – both for yourself and supporting others
- Committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive creative culture in a diverse studio

- Comfortable working alongside GMT (London) time zone (offset by less than 6 hours)
