Job Opening: Lead Nuke Artist
Location: Hamburg, Germany
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- technical and creative management, support and further development of our four-strong compositing team
- responsible for the quality and creativity of the work of the compositing team
- close cooperation with our creative directors and department heads, the production team and our customers
- Realization of creative projects as a VFX artist with a focus on CGI compositing
- On-set supervision and collaboration with our studio and SFX teams
- constant expansion of your toolset, further development of your skills and knowledge
Qualifications & Skills:
- Creativity, attention to detail and a good eye
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Nuke Compositing Artist / VFX Supervisor
- advanced knowledge of CG rendering and compositing of multi-channel EXRs
- Technical understanding of postproduction tools and workflows (e.g. ACES, Da Vinci Resolve, Flame, After Effects, …)
- Overview of and interest in new tools
- Pipeline design experience is a plus
- Organizational skills and desire to lead a team
- a positive personality and enjoy working with customers and our team
- very good spoken and written English, good knowledge of German is a plus
- EU citizenship or an existing German work permit
