Job Opening: Lead Environment Artist
Location: Paris, France
Type: Full time
Responsibilities:
- You ensure a good understanding of the issues and support the teams in order to guarantee the right level of visual rendering of the decor in all configurations (gameplay, cutscenes, etc.). You interact daily with the production teams.
- You also test the sets to make sure they meet the required level of quality.
- You ensure compliance with artistic, technical and deadline constraints.
Qualifications & Skills:
- You have at least 4 years of experience acquired in the video game industry.
- You have already participated in the production of at least one successful project on PC and/or consoles.
- You master Unreal Engine 5, Maya/3DS Max and Photoshop. Knowledge of Zbrush, Substance Designer, Painter and Houdini is a plus.
- You master the PBR production line.
- You have a good understanding of procedural generation applied to video games.
- You have a good knowledge of architecture, sculpture, drawing and art history.
- Excellent communicator, you like to work in a team and know how to demonstrate pedagogy.
- Your artistic sensitivity, your ability to observe, your autonomy and your proactivity are all assets for this position.
