Job Opening: CFX Artist – Lead
Location: Lyon, France

Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in the Animation and/or VFX industry, focusing on cloth and grooming simulations.
- Must be fluent in French.
- Proficiency in Houdini or similar software for CFX.
- Demonstrated experience in cloth simulation, hair/fur grooming, and their integration in VFX or animated productions.
- Ability to meet deadlines while ensuring high-quality and stylistically aligned work.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in addressing technical challenges related to cloth and groom simulations.
- Capable of working independently with meticulous attention to design and artistic detail.
- Proven ability to collaborate in a team environment, sharing knowledge and providing technical and creative guidance when required.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time across multiple projects.
- Comfort in receiving and implementing feedback, ensuring alignment with the vision of supervisors and creative leads.
Plus:
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience in VEX / Python for automation and procedural CFX workflows.
- Knowledge of other simulation and motion design software.
- Understanding of rigging, physics, and dynamics systems related to cloth and grooming.
