Job Opening: Lead Artist VFX
Location: Paris, France

Qualifications & Skills:
- You rely on an experience of +5 years as a VFX supervisor or you have occupied this role during the production of at least one AAA video game published;
- Strong ability to assimilate internal pipelines, proprietary tools & technologies;
- Managerial skill required with excellent verbal and visual communication;
- Very good knowledge of real-time pipelines and techniques;
- Real ability to define and then achieve the level of quality required by the artistic direction of the project;
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team (designers, computer engineers, animators) in order to create very high-level special effects;
- Ability to define the most relevant balance between visual quality and real-time performance;
- Ability to work with the Graphic Director to create, develop and ensure consistency of art style across the entire project;
- Ability to define sources of visual and technical inspirations that will advance the technical and aesthetic quality of the project;
- Ability to train and mentor members of the VFX team, while providing them with relevant artistic and technical support;
- Having a positive attitude and a real desire to bring new ideas to the team are essential;
- Portfolio/website demonstrating your skills and your artistic style/sensitivity are a prerequisite;
- Excellent knowledge of real-time engines and PBR shaders;
- Excellent knowledge of Maya and Photoshop CS;
- Knowledge of software traditionally used in the field of special effects is essential (FumeFX, Realflow, Houdini, etc.);
- Extensive expertise in fluid and particle simulation systems, as well as real-time physics engines are essential;
- A very good knowledge of scripting languages (Python/Mel) is a plus.
