Job Opening: Art Lead

Responsibilities:
- Actively collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers, aligning artistic vision with product requirements and technical constraints.
- Evaluate and integrate AI-driven and procedural tools to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and support scalable content production.
- Oversee outsourced asset production and vendor relationships. Ensure quality control, cost efficiency, and alignment with internal standards.
- Evaluate and continuously improve 2D and 3D art production pipelines, focusing on modeling, texturing, rendering, and asset management to enhance efficiency and flexibility.
- Set, communicate, and maintain high standards for art direction, ensuring visual quality, creative coherence, and brand consistency. Ensure visual decisions support learning goals and user experience.
- Oversee art project management, ensuring optimal resource allocation, adherence to timelines, and alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Master and leverage relevant art software and tools, proactively experimenting with and safely integrating new technologies and techniques into the production pipeline.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the art team, fostering professional growth, artistic innovation, and high performance.
- Contribute to the creation or refinement of 3D or 2D assets—such as environments, props, or visual effects—when needed to support key initiatives, guide standards, or fill critical gaps in production.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 7+ years of professional experience in game art, visual development, or immersive media production with at least 2 years in a leadership or lead artist role.
- Strong professional communication skills in English are required.
- Demonstrated success integrating AI or procedural techniques (e.g., generative tools, automation scripts) into production pipelines.
- Experience managing remote or distributed teams.
- Experience managing outsourced asset production and vendor relationships.
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard art and game software (e.g., Blender, Unity, Photoshop).
- Demonstrated ability to independently create and direct art assets that enhance product vision and user experience.
- Extensive knowledge of design principles, visual storytelling, and asset performance optimization.
- Proven expertise in solving complex artistic and technical challenges.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adept at clearly articulating ideas, providing constructive feedback, and facilitating effective discussions.
- Experience in establishing strong collaborative relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic leadership, team mentorship, and professional development within art teams.
- Strong project management abilities, experienced in overseeing multiple concurrent projects.
