Job Opening: Junior VFX Editor
Location: London, Westminster, UK
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Downloading of all Client material
- Providing status updates to production teams about new material
- Uploading and sorting all of the Client set reference material
- Breakdown of all edits and provide a single-shot edit reference
- Comparing and uploading all count sheet info from Clients to the production database
- Calling out any individual shot needs from the count sheets or the edit itself (Retimes/ReSizes/Prep/Plate Usage)
- Providing camera data info for Matchmove and Roto/Prep
- Ingest any outsource material
- Confirming & checking all internal versions of VFX shots into the latest edit
- Communicating any editorial context issues with the material.
- Quality checking and delivery of all outgoing material to Clients
- Maintain high security and quality checking standards
- Preparing & exporting sequence edits for internal and client approvals
- Send material to additional vendors or outsource locations
Qualifications & Skills:
- Has a passion for learning new skills
- Knowledge of Premiere or similar editing software
- Proven organizational experience
- Strong communication skills
- Technical background and experience
- An eye for detail
- Experience with Linux
- Understanding of color science
