Job Opening: Junior Facial Modeler
Location: Stockholm, Sweden
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality facial sculpts for humanoid characters and animals/creatures
- Create blendshapes and corrective shapes using Maya
- Working with scan data to produce fantastic results
- Learning how to deliver assets in a production pipeline
- Ensuring assets meets the specifications provided by all relevant departments
- Understanding application of photorealistic textures and groom
- Re-topology and efficient UV layout
Qualifications & Skills:
- Relevant experience/education coupled with boundless enthusiasm!
- Modeling skills in a diverse visual range of organic characters and creatures
- An understanding of facial anatomy and FACS
- Experience sculpting and working with blendshapes
- Experience using Zbrush/Mudbox and Maya
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly to changing specifications
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Nice to have
- Experience with character creation in general (body/clothing/hair)
- Basic understanding of Lighting and Look Development
- Skills in rigging and geometry deformations
- Ability to script in MEL and Python
- Traditional sculpture, drawing or painting skills are a plus
