Job Opening: Jr Roto Artist
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India

Responsibilities:
- Good exposure with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Roto.
- Perform Rotoscoping tasks to trace and create realistic movement sequences for visual effects and animation projects.
- Work with raw footage and apply techniques to isolate elements and integrate them seamlessly into scenes.
- Collaborate with directors, VFX supervisors, and other team members to ensure accuracy and maintain the desired visual style.
- Utilize Rotoscope software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Nuke) to refine and polish animation frames.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Rotoscoping tasks.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficiency in Rotoscope Software: A. Adobe After Effects: Familiarity with keyframe animation, masking, and other rotoscope-related functions. B. Nuke: Experience with node-based compositing, Rotoscope nodes, and integrating Roto work into compositing pipelines.
- Understanding of Animation Principles: Knowledge of key animation concepts such as timing, spacing, and movement to create fluid and natural-looking animations.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously trace and refine elements frame by frame to ensure high-quality results.
- Technical Problem-Solving: Minimum 1-year experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Rotoscoping tasks, such as tracking errors or software glitches.
- Basic Compositing Knowledge: Understanding of color correction, layering, and blending modes to integrate roto work seamlessly into final composites.
- Efficient Workflow Management: Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines, while maintaining high standards of work.
- Strong Artistic Skills: A good eye for detail, color, and composition to ensure that Rotoscoped elements blend well with live-action footage or other visual elements.
- Knowledge of Industry Standards: Awareness of current trends, best practices, and technical standards in visual effects and animation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Visual Effects, Film Production, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 – 2 Years of work experience as a Roto artist.
- A portfolio showcasing your Rotoscoping work and relevant projects.
- Experience with additional VFX or animation software (e.g., Blender, Maya) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of color correction and compositing techniques.
