Job Opening: Rigging Artist
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Montreal, Canada
Job Responsibilities:
- Creation and constant improvements of the deformation system skeleton of characters and props
- Collaboration with the animation and modeling departments
- Maintain and improve rigging tools (and other departments, as needed)
- Collaborate with our team of artists to produce high-quality assets
- Respect the planned deadlines and the high-quality standards of the company
- Respect the guidelines of the projects
Qualification & Skills:
- Diploma of studies in a program related to 3D
- Studies or practice in arts, drawing, sculpture (asset)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cartoon character rigging
- Experience in film, advertising, TV (asset)
- Have excellent knowledge of coding with Python
- Good mastery of topology for 3D characters
- Good understanding of human and animal anatomy (asset)
- Attention to detail and high quality of work
- Timely execution of projects
- Knowledge of Maya
- Artistic sense and creativity
- Able to work in a team environment
- Good communication and initiative
- Curiosity and interest to develop and shine
