88 Pictures is on the lookout for FX Artists who understand that simulation is more than just physics—it’s about crafting moments. We are seeking artists who can give fire a soul, water a sense of weight, and turn digital chaos into a beautiful story. If Houdini is your primary playground and you have a passion for procedural problem-solving, we want you to join our crew in Mumbai or Bengaluru.
Technical Requirements & Fit
- Expert-level proficiency in SideFX Houdini across various contexts (SOPs, DOPs, VOPs).
- Strong understanding of physical phenomena and the ability to translate them into digital assets.
- Familiarity with Mantra, Karma, or Arnold for rendering FX data.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating a mastery of “weight,” “scale,” and “timing” in simulations.
- Discipline and enthusiasm for a collaborative, in-office studio environment.
