Job Opening: Environment Artist
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Level Design team, Art Leads, and other Leads under the direction of the Environment Lead to complete excellent environments
- Improve the quality and technique of environment models, and complete the assigned parts in a precise manner
- Create a wide range of environmental assets, from realistic to stylized
- Perform all environment-related operations such as modeling, texturing, materials, lighting, level art etc.
- Work with the Environment lead to suggest artistic and technical solutions to achieve quality improvements
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2+ years of professional experience as an Environment Artist
- Knowledge of current generation environment production pipelines
- Understanding where to focus your efforts to be effective
- Passion and skills in creating immersive and resonant environments
- Conceptual and conceptual interpretation skills
- Good architectural modeling and texture creation techniques
- Portfolio demonstrating a variety of techniques and visually appealing art assets
- English speaking and writing skills (Japanese is a plus)
- Ability to manage time effectively and assist Art Leads with scheduling and scoping project needs
- Additional duties may be assigned
- Self-driven and excels in a multi-disciplinary team setting
