Job responsibilities:
- Find a look for the most demanding shots and create references/setups/templates to be used by the team.
- Take briefs and direction from Compositing Supervisors and VFX Supervisors and present, discuss and evaluate your ideas, approaches and results.
- Take a lead role in effect design and take advantage of any available technique.
- Work independent and proactive ahead of regular production schedules.
- Responsible for all aspects of 2D/3D Compositing.
- Take responsibility for own workload, time management and notes/feedback actions required by supervisors/productions.
- Train and mentor a team of Compositors to use your setups and templates.
- Solve any difficult technical and artistic challenge.
