Job Opening: Internship 3D Character Artist
Location: Nanterre, France
Type: Internship
Responsibilities:
- You will be in charge of creating 3D characters in a realistic or semi-realistic style.
- You will have the task of creating, modeling, and developing the UVs.
- You will create high and low poly 3D character textures and integrate them into the game engine while respecting the technical constraints of the game’s artistic direction.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Knowledge of 3D creation software: 3ds Max, Blender, Substance Painter, Photoshop.
- Basic knowledge of the Unreal Engine game engine.
- Good aptitude and artistic culture in general, interest in drawing and art history, architecture, photography, cinema…
- Organized, rigorous, autonomous, and self-critical with a good spirit of synthesis.
- Collaborative and eager to learn! You are open-minded, know how to listen, and work as a team.
- Able to work under constraints and meet deadlines.
- Adapt to Game Design, imposed templates, and the artistic direction of the project.
- A portfolio demonstrating skills in 3D creation in a realistic or semi-realistic register.
- Passionate about creating games.
Would be a plus:
- A good level of spoken and written English.
