Job Opening: Intermediate Animator
Location: Canada / Fully Remote
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Block movements in rough animation, refine and polish to completion in the final animation.
- Address required revisions and modify animation as requested.
- Based on the production schedule and resources available, ensure and maintain the quality, style and continuity of the in-game animations.
- Anticipate, communicate and troubleshoot any creative or technical issues with assistance from key stakeholders.
- Be part of feedback and review cycles that improve our quality and effectiveness.
- Keep current on animation techniques and technology.
- Ensure the technical and artistic quality of the project and communicate/collaborate effectively with team members, production and management to ensure that project goals are defined and met on time.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience working as an Animator within the games industry.
- Experience working in the Unreal Engine.
- The ability to receive, give, and apply feedback effectively.
- Experience with industry standard 3D animation software.
- Basic understanding of character rigging.
- Excellent understanding of character posing.
- Excellent understanding of basic human kinetics and real-world physics.
- Ability to communicate creative and technical thoughts and ideas in a professional and positive manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively, often with multiple tasks and under deadline pressure.
- Must be open to direction and able to embrace change.
- The ability to work well within a team.
