Job Opening: CG Lead
Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Works closely with the VFX Supervisor to establish methodology and approach to CG projects and sequences
- Manages a small CG team on projects and sequences, ensuring creative and technical notes are met and that the sequence is successfully completed on time
- Responsible for taking out a small CG team for projects and sequences
- Provides technical and creative notes to artists on the CG team
- Work includes on-the-box shot set-ups and finishing
- Helping mentor junior artists
- Work with CG Production Manager to ensure deadlines and milestones are met
Qualifications & Skills:
- Houdini, Maya experience required
- Renderman, Nuke, and ZBrush experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Shotgun required
- A minimum 3 years experience as a CG Artist required
- At least 1 year of experience as a CG Lead preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
